CombiSmart® is an integrated fingerprint authentication unit that compares stored fingerprint templates on a smart card with fingerprint data acquired in real time. The CombiSmart includes a smart card interface unit, AuthenTec FingerLoc™ AF-S2™ fingerprint imaging module, main processor board, and user display interface. A CombiSmart can be operated as a stand-alone unit or networked and has four standard outputs: Wiegand, RS-232, RS-485, and Digital I/O.
An Evaluation Kit is available for evaluating the CombiSmart's capabilities and a Developer's Tool Kit can be purchased after signing a non-disclosure agreement.
CombiSmart Evaluation Kit
The basic CombiSmart Evaluation Kit is perfect for evaluating the CombiSmart's core functionality. Using Veridt's Enrollment application to acquire a user's fingerprints, it is possible to enroll users on the memory cards provided. The CombiSmart can authenticate enrolled individuals and help determine how best to use the CombiSmart. The basic CombiSmart Evaluation Kit includes:

CombiSmart Developer's Kit
The CombiSmart Developer's Kit contains Veridt's Enrollment Software Development Kit and our Communications Software Development Kit (SDKs). The Enrollment SDK allows the developer to create customized enrollment software. The Communications SDK allows the develper to create software to network and communicate with the CombiSmart and access the device's full functionality. The CombiSmart Developer's Kit includes:
